Timing Model and Process Control
Gamma V offers multiple options for exactly controlling the timing of applications in conjunction with Gamma's internal functions like e.g. networking, I/O plug-ins or data logging. This allows developers to precisely coordinate all time related processes inside a system in real time, even in a multicore environment. On an x86 based RT-Linux system, typical cycle times for processes and I/O are roughly 500µsec.
